A lifetime of service, rooted in wyoming

Brad Jenkins was born and raised in Casper, Wyoming to a run of the mill hardworking lower middle-class family. He attended public schools graduating from Natrona County High School in 2004. Serving our community has been a way of life for Brad his entire adult life from military service to pastoring and various civil organizations. As he watched the attacks upon our way of life September 11th, Brad knew the duty and call to serve was personal therefore he determined as soon as legally possible he would volunteer to serve.  That determination caused Brad to enlist into the ranks of our military serving in the Wyoming Army National Guard’s 1022nd Medical Company, separating with an honorable discharge after eight years of service. Brad began his training for ministry in 2004 with enrollment at Baptist Bible College in Springfield MO finishing his degree in biblical studies from Andersonville Theological Seminary in Camilla, GA with 4.0 honors. Brad Jenkins is a family man of faith that has been married to his wife Katie for twenty years and together they have five wonderful children.  He is running for mayor of Douglas to make sure that his children, and all Douglas children will be able to experience the continuation of the Wyoming freedom he enjoyed growing up. Brad Jenkins has served his community for over twenty years in local church ministries in various roles, of which seventeen years have been as a senior pastor. The beginning years of his ministry were spent planting/replanting churches that have been woefully mismanaged in Nebraska and North Carolina that are all still thriving to this day. It’s been said that his ministry has been one of fixing broken problems. Pastor Jenkins currently serves as the senior pastor at Douglas Baptist Church here in Douglas. In the civil arena Brad has served as the Chairman of the Rowan County GOP. Brad has also served as a district committeeman, precinct committeeman and many other areas. Brads services has extended to many other organizations such as a chaplain for his local sheriff’s department, local hospitals as well as serving on various community boards and organizations. Having heard the call of service from our fellow citizen Brad Jenkins is once again determined willing and ready to serve as your next mayor to defend our way of life, make our community the best is can be and pass the torch of freedom to the next generation with hopes of a better future we would all be honored to pass onto the next generation.

The douglas plan

Four promises. Full Stop.

Every promise below gets a public progress report at a town hall every quarter — in person, on the record.

01

Water for the masses

Our lawns are turning to dust and our faucets are running dry, yet the crisis keeps growing while nothing gets done. It’s time we put water back where it belongs: in every home, every glass, and every neighborhood across our city.

02

Infrastructure

Our sewer system is overwhelmed and stretched past its limits. It’s time to rebuild the foundation our city depends on — before the next breakdown becomes a disaster.

03

Freedom for families

Every parent deserves streets where their kids can play freely and grow up safe. We’ll protect our children, empower families, and put real choices back in the hands of the people who know them best — you.

04

Small Government

City Hall wasn’t meant to run your life like a nosy HOA board, dictating your fence height, your paint color, and everything in between. I’ll dismantle that micromanaging overreach one vote at a time and give this city back to the people who actually live in it.
